Our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Dehradun is designed for anyone who wants to learn yoga deeply and become a certified yoga teacher. At Kewalya Yogshala, we offer a peaceful and supportive space in the lap of nature where you can grow, heal, and connect with yourself. This one-month course blends traditional yoga with modern teaching methods, helping you build a strong foundation in yoga practice and philosophy.
You will learn asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and more from experienced and friendly teachers. The course is certified by Yoga Alliance USA, so you’ll be eligible to teach yoga anywhere in the world after completing it. Whether you are a beginner or looking to strengthen your practice, this course will guide you every step of the way.
Day 1 – Arrival & Check-In:- The first day is dedicated to arrivals, check-in, and rest after long travel. You’ll be warmly welcomed at the school and given an overview of the next day’s schedule.
Day 2 – Opening Ceremony & Orientation:- Your journey officially begins with a traditional fire ceremony (Homa and Yajna), where you set your intention (Sankalpa) for the month ahead. An orientation session will follow to introduce the course structure and key guidelines.
From Day 3 – Daily Practice Begins:- From the third day onward, your structured training begins. You’ll follow a comprehensive daily schedule that balances physical practice, theory, and self-study.

Sundays – Rest & Excursions:- Sundays are for rest and local exploration. Enjoy trips to nearby spots like George Everest Peak, Robber’s Cave, Tapkeshwar Temple, or a forest waterfall hike.
Extra Activities:- To add joy and variety, we host cultural evenings, sound healing sessions, Bollywood dance classes, and mantra chanting. These activities help you connect with fellow students and experience the joyful side of yogic living.
Closing Ceremony & Graduation: On the final day, we celebrate your course completion with a traditional ceremony and certificate distribution. You’ll officially become a Yoga Alliance USA certified teacher, ready to share yoga with the world.
