Ready to take your yoga journey to the next level? Our 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Kewalaya Yogshala in Dehradun is a 55-day immersive program designed to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga, both on and off the mat. While modern yoga often focuses on physical poses (asana), we go beyond that to explore all the essential aspects of yoga, blending spirituality into every part of your training to support both personal and spiritual growth.
This 500-hour course is the next big step toward becoming a fully Certified Yoga Instructor. We’ve followed the guidelines set by Yoga Alliance USA to ensure that you receive the highest quality training. Our program is thoughtfully designed to help you develop the skills and confidence to share the wisdom of yoga with others, while also deepening your own practice.
Our training is more than just learning poses – it’s a transformative journey. Living the authentic yogic lifestyle at our ashram will allow you to turn inward and connect with your true self. It’s a unique opportunity to experience yoga as a way of life, not just a practice.
This course is perfect for dedicated yogis looking to deepen their personal practice, as well as for those planning to open their own yoga studio or teach professionally. Upon completion, you’ll be able to register as an advanced yoga teacher (RYT500) with Yoga Alliance, equipped with a comprehensive understanding of yoga asanas, philosophy, and history.
You’ll graduate with a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, so you can safely teach students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Throughout the course, you’ll also explore various meditation and concentration techniques, helping you refine your own practice and take it to new heights.
